The Ruth Strauss Foundation offers a FREE training programme which consists of pre-course e-learning and a one-day interactive workshop. The programme is designed for professionals providing care for patients with children, whose cancer is incurable.
Preparing children for parental death can be one of the most challenging experiences parents will face. Children who are given information and support when they need it, say they feel more
included and better prepared for the death of their parent. *Parents report a need for support from their healthcare professional on how to have open and honest conversations with their children.
The training is delivered by highly experienced facilitators from clinical or children and family bereavement backgrounds. It runs from 9am to 4:30pm. Registration from 8:30am.
Spaces are limited, book now via the link or QR
