New course launched to address gaps in bereavement training for primary care practitioners – Good Grief
Good Grief are a national charity so although there is a small charge for the course its not for profit, any proceeds go back into funding the educational and support work the charity does.
Its suitable for anyone who works in primary care, not just GPs.
“GPs and other primary care professionals are at the front line of bereavement support, but there is very little training available that is specific to the challenges of their role. At Good Grief Festival, we are dedicated to creating a more compassionate society for everyone – and this includes upskilling healthcare professionals to feel more clued up and confident responding to bereavement. We’re proud to launch this course, co-designed with leading experts in the field” – Professor Lucy Selman, Director, Good Grief Festival
