Findings from a novel approach to managing the cough reflex

Chronic cough is a condition that impairs the quality of life of affected patients and may persist despite optimal intervention. It is perhaps not surprising therefore, that presentations about the management of cough on our recent courses have proved very popular, and so we’d like to bring your attention to interesting findings from a novel approach to managing the cough reflex.  The researchers, from Japan, report on their work in the form of an Original Research Letter to the European Respiratory Society’s open research journal.
